"The audience in Shizuoka are very heartfull, so it's really good for
me to perform," said Nino Costrini. The most important thing for
him to perform, or even to live, I guess, is to find someone laughing.
And so he wants the audience to do just the same thing while they
are watching his performance, just feel the fun and simply burst
into laughter!

After the show, he said to us very strongly,
"Though I am not used to living in Japan, Shizuoka is one of the
best places for performers to perform. Middle of the busy downtown,
just beside the normal life, there is a huge festival of DAIDOGEI..
This is incredible, and quite wonderful. and also I'm very greatful to
have the chance to perform in such a nice festival.

He came to Japan with a beautiful lady, who is his girlfriend.
She actually is helping him perform, with changing sound of
his voice, as well as starting and stopping the music. And she is
also a clown, with Nino doing the sound effect's thing. Next year,
or maybe next next year, she would perform in Shizuoka.

After finishing the interview, he found energy-drink from the box
which is used for collecting hat money. "Oh! this is very good!
makes me powerful!"He can make even the form of drinking
humorous! I wish he will continue to come to Shizuoka!

Sam Shine, from Holland, has come back to Shizuoka after an
interval of 4 years. This time, she dresses up as blue seahorse
costume instead of butterfly. As she wants to be unique, she
doesn't want to wear butterfly which many other performers wear.

With being tremendously tall, she allures passers-by into her
dream world. She treats them often friendly, but sometimes she
makes fun of adults by showing comical face or by standing in
their way.

She said that Shizuoka is a nice place to perform as the atmosphere
is quiet and relaxing even though there are so many people in the
city. Her costume sometimes scares kids because of her height
and blue face. But she knows how to deal with those kids and
amuses them!

As we can see from her costume, she likes fish ; )
Her favorite Japanese foods are sushi, fried oysters and miso-soup!!

She usually performs with group back in Holland.
We hope that she'll come back to Shizuoka with the other members
of her group next year.

First scene, the "Barbarabit" is wearing a pretty dress, and Cabaret
music began to play. The audience clapped, while Barbara Murata
danced with the doll. It seemed like she was dancing with another
real gentleman.

She will be performing in Tokyo after this event.

Barbara Murata is already familiar to the audience in Shizuoka.
This time, she has brought a new performance and the
highlight is a Rabbit!!

From behind the big crowd, she appeared wearing a rabbit mask,
which looked so real, and the atmosphere of the place became
mysterious..

After some magic by the rabbit Barbara, sexy mimes and cute
dances by Barbara Murata herself and her old partner doll
followed. The audience were so fascinated to it.

She is also going to perform at the big event in Tokyo from

The genius juggler is back with a new vocal percusssionist! Pop beat,
heavy base sound, and even baby's cry from a man's body!? When
these sounds meet miraculous juggling, you can't believe what's
happening in front of you!

Thanks to the beautiful weather & holiday, there were more people
than yesterday! The performer named "Happy Yoshizawa" wore the
costume of "Pirates of Caribbean"on , with playing its sound track
for creating such a dinamic atmosphere...!!

His indivisual space & sense of creation overwhelmed the whole
audience, and at the same time, his performance surely had the
story factor, I felt.

He said,"I never use language while performing, because then people
can concentrate on my performance. No language can make big a
impression & imagination, I noticed."

Also he said, " I want to input a factor of wildness in this Wild
Version Performance." Actually, his acting & poses are as if magic
he created in his own world.(he learned Japanese traditional dance!)

The way of creating "the space" with individual atmosphere is also a
big subject, including better magic skills.

Powerbomb Takumi has a new performance style, which is a mixture
of street dance and acrobatic actions. They have trained very hard
to show their high gymanstic skills.

Besides their amiable character and talk, their rythmical and popular
musics makes the audience feel a sense of unity. Their performance
was totally comical, as well.

You can not take your eyes off from them !

Their teamwork was so excellent that we can hardly believe that
some of the members joined this group only 1 year ago.

We hope they keep doing wonderful performances as a worldwide
muscle entertainers!

Her acrobatic performance is really individual for being a mix of
various kinds of dance, ballet, opera, & circus!

She is the huge fan of Japanese culture, but this is the first time
to come here. Her costume & BGM was really exotic based on
Asian beauty. She expressed her stoic beauty with handling colorful
cloth, like a celestial nymph or fairy. (She handled with the sky!)

She said,"Usually, I performs inside. The most serious problem to
perform outside is the weather. Rainy days & windy days are high
risk for me."

Whatever the weather, her performance is definitely beautiful &
dynamic like getting sunshine.
